The Alabaster is a concert inspired from the
Alabaster box in Luke 7:37-38, matt 26:6-13. Being a symbol of purity
and honour, it represents the vessel with which God uses to pour the
fullness of His power and anointing by His spirit upon us all. It also
represents us as the receiving vessel.
The Alabaster box gospel
concert organized by passionate youths and highly spirited individuals
aims at reconciling men to God and lifting believers to that high
pedestal of where God wants them to be through soulful worship and
praise with one voice, in one place establishing true worship in the
hearts of men.
The Alabaster box musical concert put together by the
thrilling sax player herself, Omotola Olarinre (Omotola Sax), the
project manager, Shola Ekerin and the Alabaster box crew members has
recorded increasing success in its first edition in 2010 and its second
edition in 2011 at Ejigbo mini-stadium with population of over 4,000
attendees with notable guest artistes, minstrels and men of God.
